Drops of Light Brightening day cream review

Hey folks,

I recently shared my views on The Body Shop Drops of Light Brightening face serum and I’ve the Brightening Foam wash and Brightening face cream to review. So, today I’ll review the face cream.

Product Description:
A lightweight, yet nourishing day cream clinically proven to significantly reduce the number, size and intensity of dark spots.
  • Provides hydration, for softer, smoother skin
  • Instantly, skin texture feels smoother, softer and re-plumped with moisture
  • After 4 weeks, skin appears brighter, healthier and skin tone is even and clarified

How to use:
Evenly massage onto face and neck after using the serum.

Price: ₹ 2050 (50 ml)

My experience:
The entire range is white in color, which I love. The tub of the cream is made of glass and is a little heavy which may be difficult to carry. The cap is of screw type which closes tight and there is no wastage. It can easily be carried in suitcases or bags subjected to a lot of motion. The product is of white color.

The product is creamy and a pea-sized amount is enough to cover the entire face, which means the 50 ml will last quite some time. The texture is just perfect amount of creamy and it doesn’t leave you with a sticky feeling even in hot days. In winters, it is the perfect amount of moisturizing required. Even in a cold country like Bhutan, this worked just well.

I’m so thankful for the entire range. It just works wonders on dry skin. My skin has gone from dry to normal after using the range and it just hasn’t felt better. My skin shines now and looks beautiful and the need to cover up my face with makeup has reduced. If you don’t want to buy the entire product at once, you can ask them for the samples at the store. It comes in little sachets which will last you for two uses and if you then like the product, you can buy the full sized version at the store or online.

Pros:
  • Creamy, soft texture
  • Lasts for a long time as small amount is required
  • Improves the quality and texture of the skin
Cons:
  • The tub is a little heavy
FOTB Rating: 5/5 (after the miracle of the product, I don’t mind carrying the heavy tub), definitely going to buy again
